Yea, I give up on Online Pinyin. I can’t bear with it when I think much more and faster than I can write it down. It’s just too slow and unable to catch whatever pops out from my mind and needs to be jotted down immediately.
I’ve just finished this old old “Running” book of Mr. Murakami the past few days, on the train. It was English version, coincidentally. The content is much easier to digest than I expected, as I initially thought it was a very professional guide and sort of book for professional runner, it was not. As usual as quite long-winded style of Murakami mumbling about everything related or unrelated to running. But because it’s Murakami, it’s always interesting.
The translation is quite well done in the sense that the book is short (shorter than expected) and simple. It reminds me of another short stories collection of Murakami which is also in English, the only English version of his books that I have, exchanged with book gift voucher during the time I was in Uni. As far I remember I didn’t finish reading that, I have problems in reading English novel comfortably that time, and have not improved much till now. I need to dig it out. I couldn’t remember even the book title.
I never liked running, let alone marathon such kind of test on human’s limit. The longest track I ever ran is about 5km, involuntarily during secondary school time. It will be the last i think. Some more I walked off half of the journey if not mistaken. What a shame.
I read the whole thing I feel lacking something as in Chinese version. Totally different. Chinese one will be more likely to grasp the original feels in Japanese, I suppose. Same applies to this blog..anyhow a bit unnatural……
